    Hello,
how can I create rpm packages with your distribution?
I compiled a lot of software and simply wanna have it as packages for simplier reinstallation if it is needed.

    can someone help me please?

    thank you very much

    Hi,

In fact, the natural way of creating packages would be to add recipes in yocto : that way rpms would be automatically created
You can have a look at this post to generate your own yocto build
Then you can add your own layer with your own recipes (extensive documentation for yocto can be found here)
Especially, this doc and chapter ยง5.3 will describe how to write a recipe…
    Regards
    Stephan

    hmm ok, I see…
Then, you should install the package rpm-build with smart
    smart install rpm-build
In case you are faced with troubles the rpm is available
    here

    Regards
