    I’m not sure if this is the right forum, or the general xbmc.org forum (I’ll try both).

    I’ve found, for example, that the TED Talk add-on works; while the PBS Add-on doesn’t… at least while trying to watch Frontline.

    I turned on XBMC Debugging and captured the following:

    This locks up the XBMC on the Utilite Pro, and I have to manually kill/restart the xmbc proces. It may be that I’m still an XBMC newbie here… but, should I expect the PBS Add-on to work regardless of architecture? Do I need some kind of .dll or .so to make the add-on work?

    Any help is apprecaited. 🙂

    Thanks

    Hi Will,

    I have just installed PBS and played a few vids from FRONTLINE with no issue at all (on a custom image of mine for utilite pro)

    I have read your logs : To my mind, libRTMP is missing on your target
    Can you tell me precisely which image/distro you use please ?

    Regards
    Stephan

    Stephan,

    I’m building from your git repo on a i386 Ubuntu 12.04 LTS build host.

    I’m using the following:

    TEMPLATECONF=pwd/sources/meta-stef/conf MACHINE=utilite source setup-environment build

    After that I run the standard “bitbake xbmc-image” command per the instructions here: http://stephan-rafin.net/blog/2013/12/18/build-environment/

    I’ve just blown away the entire xbmc-image directory, and re-ran the repo init / repo sync steps.

    Here’s the output:

    wls@xbmc-builder:~/xbmc-bsp$ TEMPLATECONF=pwd/sources/meta-stef/conf MACHINE=utilite source setup-environment build
    Configuring for utilite

    Welcome to Freescale Community BSP

    reference manual which can be found at:
    http://yoctoproject.org/documentation

    For more information about OpenEmbedded see their website:

    You can now run ‘bitbake <target>’

    Common targets are:
    core-image-minimal
    meta-toolchain
    meta-toolchain-sdk
    adt-installer
    meta-ide-support

    Your build environemnt has been configured with:

    MACHINE=utilite
    SDKMACHINE=i686
    DISTRO=poky
    EULA=

    And then, after the “bitbake xbmc-image”:

    Hi Will

    A few answers to your questions :

    – In fact the MACHINE variable is used first time when the build/conf/local.conf file is created : Please check in the file the MACHINE value and simply edit the value if it is set to wandboard…

    – For your build issue it seems you are unable to fetch (download) a source package, It may be a transient network issue, please try to relaunch the build
    If the issue persists I fear they tree from which we fetch may have been reworked : I will have a look

    – At last please note that you can grab a built image for wandboard quad here :
    https://stephan-rafin.net/owncloud/public.php?service=files&t=13d2af7a8aad7ccbc40fbc030fbe07eb
